The NST-45D Steam Traps Thermodynamic Traps with built-in strainer are suitable to use in the pressure up to 32 bar. These Traps intermittantly discharge condensate with a blast action at a few degrees below steam saturation temperature.
INSTALLATION
Before install the trap NST-45D, blow out all dirt and scale from pipe line. Install the trap in the direction of arrow on the body as close as possible to the apparatus of drainage. Pitch all drain lines toward trap. Use a valve before trap for easy maintenance.
MAINTENANCE
Unscrew the cap using a suitable spanner. Dirt or sediments on the surface of disc or body seat will cause abnormal operation. Cleaning of these parts should be done with a soft cloth and solvent. Reassemble the unit in a position where disc will be downwards. Apply anti seize compound on cap threads and avoid smearing compound on the disc and body seat. The cleaning of strainer should be done periodically.
